Lexington Hospital for Cats is located  at 2025 Regency Road Suite 110.

Our building has had a varied past. It was once a liquor store, several restaurants, and a pain management clinic. When we decided to move here from our location on Lane Allen Road, the building needed extensive renovation to become a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital. The building had been vacant for a long time. The bushes were overgrown in front and back. Weeds had taken over the garden and the parking lot.

We have worked very hard to beautify the building by removing the overgrown bushes in the front and planting rose bushes, ornamental grasses, and seasonal flowers. We stayed true to our hospital colors on the outside using pink, navy blue, and white but the inside is more mission in style. Cat posters from the Asheville Arts and Crafts Fair decorate much of the hospital. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and homey experience for our patients and their families.

We have 3 exam rooms and a comfort room that is used for consultations. The boarding area is in the main hallway of the hospital, this way the cats can watch all of our activities. Our hospitalized patients stay in a separate ward or in our intensive care unit (ICU) that provides heating, cooling, and oxygen as needed. Our surgery suite is used only for sterile surgical procedures. We have a separate ward for cats that might be contagious. Our dental suite doubles as our ear treatment and endoscopy station and grooming sink.
